Sure Holly and Lucy they may not be heading off to university as mature age doggos to ‘learn those darn computer contraptions’ any time soon, but they took to the pet photography modelling game like ducks to water. Or should I say, like retrievers to retrieving things.

As much as I love having young pups and rowdy teens come through my studio, I have a very special place in my heart for the old dog souls. They’re not excitedly peeing on my equipment or trying to eat my shoe, they’ve been there and done that all before. Now they’re just happy to sit back and go with the flow and hopefully get some treats and belly rubs out of the deal. I also adore having older dogs in my studio because I know first hand how much photos of our pets mean, especially when they’re no longer with us.

One of my favourite parts of this job is receiving messages from past clients thanking me and sharing with me photos of my work displayed in their homes and knowing that something I helped to create will now live on forever. Thank you for sharing your stories with me, I very much appreciate it.
